This event will be in lieu of "Harry's Walk" this year. The library has graciously welcomed a bronze plaque with Harry's writing style and words to permanently rest in the garden of the library. Harry's Memorial Plaque will located at the Albany Public Library, Arbor Hill/West End Branch, at North East corner of Henry Johnson Boulevard and First Street , the site of the crash.
We will be holding a 50/50 raffle to raise funds for the plaque.
The raffle drawing along with a reception and unveiling will be held on Friday morning July 1st 2011 from 10:30 am till 12:00 noon. The drawing will be held at 11:30 and it's not necessary for the winner to be present to win. Light refreshments will be served and parking is available on the North side of the library. All are welcome and invited to celebrate Harry's remarkable life and be with his family and friends for the unveiling.

Ticket prices are: One ticket for $5.00, Five tickets for $20.00 and a book of 15 tickets for $50.00.
